Klanghaus Toggenburg
Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Eastern Switzerland, the Klanghaus Toggenburg is an extraordinary project with magnificent architecture – a place where music and nature flow in harmony. The project managers and the "Weggenossen" (journeymen) as spiritual partners developed and implemented this vision in close collaboration with a team of architects and engineers, as well as the Klangwelt Toggenburg association. The building adheres to the most stringent building regulations, based on the law of the geometry of sound.

- Use of HiCAD
- This challenging project required Metallraum, as general contractor, not only a high degree of craftsmanship but also a holistic understanding of construction. To ensure precise implementation of the project, all necessary manufacturing steps were visualized as 3D models. The final quality control of the components took place in a "digital shell," where all designs could be verified for accuracy.
- Challenges
- The shape of the building presented particular challenges. The non-rectangular facades, the vertically curved roof surfaces, the facade made of ventilated timber cladding with a vertical structure, and the geometric details of the building placed the highest demands on planning and execution. Metallraum AG prepared the assembly with millimeter precision, manufactured it precisely on modern equipment, and implemented it precisely and successfully on site using precise structures.
