Headquarters Schmid Baugruppe
Schmid Dachbau GmbH was responsible for the planning, production and installation of the complete aluminum composite façade (approx. 1,200 m²) made of architectural aluminum for the construction project “Headquarters Schmid Baugruppe, Frankenburg”.

- Challenges
- A particular challenge was the planning and execution of the extensive details, comprising over 1,500 different types of construction. In addition to the geometric requirements, a wide variety of system solutions were required. Different substructures and diverse wall materials were used. The window connections, reveal depths, and soffit surfaces in the aluminum composite material of the facade elements were also adapted. Another visual highlight was the numerous porthole elements, which bathe the facade in a special light, even at night.
