The highlights in video

New in Modelling
In Service Pack 2, standard processings have been upgraded again with extensive improvements. Furthermore, the lengthening of beams has been completely revised and offers a new, simple and modern user interface. In addition to the extended check of the manufacturability of Sheet Metal parts, the insertion of anchors has also been improved.

New features in drawing detailing
In Service Pack 2, the icons of the UI have been completely redesigned. The new planning grid has been further adapted in terms of creation and annotation. Finally, magnetic snap-in is now also available for dimensions, and an overview of parts that have not yet been derived for workshop drawings.

New in User Interface and Operation
With Service Pack 2, the Properties window has been redesigned and now offers new options. There are also minor improvements in the other ICN windows. Finally, the advanced search is now available in all catalogue selection dialogues.

New in Facade Engineering - The Panel
The new Panel variant is available in the Civil Engineering functions as of Service Pack 2. A panel can be created either based on a sketch or between profiles as a sheet metal or glass panel. Both types offer numerous components and configuration options, for example for the insulation or thermal break, thus enabling flexible design of construction elements.

New in Steel Engineering:"Bracket""connection and "Lengthen beams"
Service Pack 2 introduces the new Steel Engineering connection Bracket in the Civil Engineering functions. This is used as a support connection – either between two beams (typically columns and girders) or between a beam and a general 3-D part, such as a wall. A user-friendly dialogue window offers numerous settings options for configuring the connection precisely and efficiently. In addition, Service Pack 2 includes the new Lengthen beam function, which allows beams to be placed quickly and flexibly.
