The following functions will help you to achieve a time-saving workflow:
With one click you can switch between the simplified and the exact representation. It what situations does this make sense? If, for example, you want to have the Configurator calculate several wall modules across an entire building floor, the exact representation will takes several minutes, while the simplified representation will take only a few seconds!
You can generate neutral formats such as PDF, 3D PDF, STEP data or DXF data at the push of a button. This allows you to illustrate the design to the customer or to feed your automated machinery with data.
How do you transmit the variables for the basic design? No matter whether via an Excel spreadsheet or via a configurator - HiCAD offers very many possibilities here, we make data visible by converting it into a model drawing. Of course, we can also output the entered data immediately, e.g. as a 3D PDF or via other neutral formats such as STEP data, which you can then use further or view directly on VR glasses.
We turn this into "designing with modules"! Read in a point cloud, relate your model drawing to the scanned project and check it directly for possible collisions. Supplement the "real" data with your BIM templates of the structures. In addition, you can directly insert IFC data from other trades. Wasting time by reconstructing existing building sections is thus a thing of the past!
Divider modules, glass walls, soundproof walls etc.: All model drawings are optimally supported by the profile technology, which also supports profile families. For multi-part profiles, you can decide whether you want to edit the complete profile package or just individual components. Standard profiles can be found in our library, special profiles can be defined quickly and efficiently via a floor plan and a semi-finished product.
You require components with lighting, with ventilation, with cutouts or customized components? No problem! Everything can be pre-planned in a design variant. What is not pre-planned in the variant can always be individually reworked. Everything pre-planned or reworked is automatically tracked, dimensioned or transferred to NC machines.
