- With the ‘sweep’ option in HiCAD, the sheets can be quickly wound upwards. The flat steel end pieces on the sheet metal cheeks posed more of a problem. But this could also be solved satisfactorily with the edge sweep. The contours of the spiral end plates were lasered according to the development created with HiCAD and then welded helically to the cheek plate. All parts were welded together on site and then surface-treated. For the steps, folded cups were welded in, which were then filled with a floor covering.
- Herausforderungen
- The staircase was to appear very simple and be assembled on site with only a few parts. The maximum size of the parts was determined by the width of the metal sheets that could be rolled up.
