New Hexenwasser mountain station

This was an unusual mountain railway concept - a total of 72 gondolas are designed with different looks and tell their own story during the ride. For this project, we carried out the metal engineering work (e.g. stairs, railings, gratings, etc.), the structural steel engineering and a Fundermax panel facade - architectural stripes, curved columns and bent elements.

In particular, the Sheet Metal functions, for developing and trimming the strips were very helpful. For a three-dimensionally curved, tapered steel building column, the functions Connecting sheet, Bending simulation, Sheet along sketch were indispensable. For the facade panels and also for the substructures, design variants and general connections were a great help.
Enjeux
Due to the complex parts, building lots and interrelated components, the project had to be set up with external references.
