In HiCAD, you don't have to do without existing know-how, neither for system replacements nor when changing from 2D to 3D CAD. You can continue to use and, above all, edit your existing 2D and 3D data stock in HiCAD without any loss of data - without the redesign after "data transfer" that is often required when working with other CAD systems. Lossless data exchange and secure cooperation with your customers and partners is guaranteed by direct interfaces to common CAD systems, such as AutoCAD®, SolidWorks®, Inventor®, CATIA®, Pro/Engineer / CREO Parametric, Parasolid® or ACIS, as well as numerous neutral formats such as DXF, DWG, IGES or STEP.
In addition, each HiCAD version comes with interfaces to the in-house systems BABCAD and PC-Draft as well as the standard interfaces DXF and DWG. Depending on requirements, numerous other interfaces are also available.
