HiCAD 2019 - Service Pack 2

Service Pack 2 for HiCAD 2019 is out now – with many functional enhancements and new functions.  Our developers concentrated their efforts on achieving further performance increases, a clearer overview in large model drawings, more user-friendliness – especially for the operation of the HCM – and the further advancement of the facade engineering functionalities. One highlight of the SP2 is the Folding with milling edge zones in Sheet Metal. For example, composite panels such as ALUCOBOND©, can be conveniently shaped with the help of milling edge technology, while the resulting bend zones geometrically differ from the cylindrical bend zones. Also new is the Dialogue Editor for Installation Elements, which enables you to customize the dialogue windows in the Element installation module. In future versions, the Dialogue Editor is to become a general Editor for other modules and areas, too.

Other highlights are the enhanced cross-bracings, the division of handrails, curved railings, the insertion of wall brackets and the installing of Eternit panels. Also worthy of mention is the revised function for automatic placing of parts on guidelines in Plant Engineering.
