The ISD Software und Systeme GmbH announced the opening of ISD Group USA Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary in the United States of America. The new subsidiary is actually found in two locations: Atlanta, GA and Davidson, N.C.. In so doing it will offer international clients better help for regional support on training, as well as servicedesk and further implementations with the aim of increasing growth in the region.

FARO and the ISD Group have combined and bundled their competence in a cooperation. In the past, both FARO customers and our customers wanted the possibility to combine the advantages of laser scanning and the point cloud when working with HiCAD. In order to meet this customer request, the workflow between the FARO tool As-Built Modeler and HiCAD was first improved by means of an appropriate interface functionality.
