The architect or client usually still provides the layout in 2D format. With HiCAD you can read in any common interface and generate the on-site environment from it. Working in parallel in the 3D world with the underlying 2D plan eliminates unnecessary discrepancies between old and new.
Recurring equipment can be managed in the HiCAD user catalogue in an access rights controlled manner. If you use the index management of our PDM system HELiOS, you are guaranteed to correctly schedule the current status of your objects. Textures already used in the design phase increase the chances of receiving orders.
With a CAD system, there are no limits to the creativity for creating new design objects - if it's called HiCAD! No matter whether it's a question of shaping or machining, with HiCAD you will succeed in creating individual pieces and series.
If objects with grid dimensions exist, variant technology offers an excellent tool for generating deviating sizes in the shortest possible time. With the HiCAD Constraint Manager, worktops or drawers always remain in the right place. The fixed distances to wall or floor are maintained.
From layout to production drawing, we support you with automatically generated views, dimensions and annotations. The always current sectional views, detail views and cut-out views guarantee a smooth production and set-up process.
Photorealistic images, exploded views and motion simulations in the form of videos make your model drawings very clear and descriptive. With the product structure stored in HELiOS, an assembly BOM, for example, can be created directly from the ISD-PDM system. The documents are up-to-date and checked.
